Bases on the editorial encoding and enrichment of the text through a standardised procedure of text encoding we are able to create new content units that were produced by the already existing ones.

These pages help the reader discover information about the book when they’re not withing the text. This is very helpful for previewing, revising and highlighting content details that are not necessarily explicit or easy to find within the text.

Some examples include:

  • character maps
  • illustration indices
  • object index
  • Chronology / timeline
  • list of locations / maps
